So we found out that we have free will, and that there’s more to life than just life on earth. There is good reason to start thinking about a worldview. According to the Christian world view God cares for you, though you might not always realise that.
Isa_55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Your pet vs you, you vs God
Have you ever had a pet in your life? Did you realize there is quite a difference between what for example a cat can understand and what mankind can understand? It knows what it is getting food, and if a specific locker is opened that is good news, as its food is there. So is there as well a difference between God and us? Though God has given us quite some brains, and we can think quite a bit more than our pets, still God knows much much more than we do.
Finding a partner, source of joy and trouble
So we can read our bible and we know what is good and what is evil? Well in some areas the bible is very clear, this is good and that is evil. In other areas, for example, which partner to marry you have to follow the gifts God has given you and the Holy Ghost. Why I am picking the example of finding a partner? Because a lot of joy and tragedy in one’s life comes from finding the wrong or good partner. How many Christians pray for a specific person to become their partner, which might be not completely the choice from above… What should God do?
As you have free will, so have the potential partners around you. God won’t force you to love Him, so follow his example and:
Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
So seek Him first, and get change in His image more and more, and then he can add a partner next to you. He knows them all personally and knows much better than you which person would fit.
As for me, I was planting a small church with very few women around, but still, God was able to send my future wife to this church. God is able. But this is not the main topic of this page, it is about how God cares for you. Finding God
If there is a God who knows you better than yourself, and he cares for you, why won’t you put your desires in prayer to God, and trust Him in your life?
Mat 11:27-30 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. Mat 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Mat 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Mat 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
How? First start bringing your desires and questions in prayer and ask God what he thinks of it. You might not get a direct answer (as your sins are between Him and you), but after some time you might set your priorities a bit differently in your life. God cares for you, though you might not always realise that yet.
Gen 3:22-23 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: Gen 3:23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
God cares for you
And yes there is separation between God and mankind and we encounter difficulties in this world. God wants us to understand this, and come back to Him. How can that be? Well, do read carefully Genesis 3 and the gospel of John chapter 3. You will find out that God already promised a way out in Genesis 3, and by sending His Son to this world Jesus Christ he made a way for us to have a real relationship with Him. Now in this sinful world, and for eternity.
And yes for us mankind there will be always the opportunity to choose between Good and Evil. In the end of time, the strife between good and evil will be even more as today. It has been written down in the Book of Revelation. This is quite interesting and good to study, but be aware that the most important thing for eternity is your relationship with Him:
Rev_3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
