One of the cryptic verses in the Book of Revelation is about the number of the Beast: 666.
Rev 13:16-18 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
What do we read? People are connected to a system with which they can buy and sell. And if they are not connected, they simply cannot. As we know God has given mankind free will, so it seems you can choose between being part of the system or not buying.
This story resembles quite a bit the story of Daniel 3, wherein as well some sixes appear, and people have to worship the image, otherwise they will be thrown into an oven.
Dan 3:1 Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon. Dan 3:5-6 That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up: 6 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

People with the mark
What will happen to the people who take the number of the Beast: 666? They can buy and sell, but will they enjoy it?
Rev 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
They get some physical issues. This might be due to the things that they have implemented to buy and sell. Is the lithium battery of the sensor leaking? I don’t know and am not planning to get to know it as well.
When will this all happen?
Back in the nineties, I worked for Lucent Technologies in wireless computing development. On one of my trips to the United States, I bought the book: Project Lucid from Texe Marrs.
He proved back then that a system that is described in the bible is technically possible, and people are actively working on it. Technology has advanced quite a bit in the last 25 years, so what was then already possible is surely now.

So that people can have a chip to pay with, technology-wise quite mainstream knowledge.
But is there more?
Rev 14:9-10 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
What we see here, is that after people have taken the mark, there is no way back, they don’t have free will anymore. The “system” has taken them over.
How could that be? As we all big tech is getting a lot of data about us, and that is not only to send us personal advertisements on Facebook, there is a bigger plan:
So they are gathering every information possible about us, and they would love to take us over.

What will happen to the people that don’t take the mark?
Rev 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
The beast was given the power to make war with the saints, and in Revelation 20 we read:
Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
So if you don’t take the mark, you will be beheaded. That’s the fate of the people who don’t take the mark. The good news is they will live in the millennium, which happens before Judgement Day.
